Starting out

This is our first official article on the website!
This one is a bit more personal in nature, to explain what we are setting out to do here.

We recently moved into a new home and it was in dire need of some love and care.

It was a big project and for the last 6 months we have spent a lot of time and effort to get it to where it is now.
After all the renovations and repairs, there is still a lot to be done and this inspired us to share some of the lessons that we learned or topics that we came across from a home owner’s perspective.

The idea to create this space was born from our love and labor that we have put into our home.

Like so many homeowners, we have learned a lot and we would like to explore topics that span through the three categories of House, Garden and Home.

We spent a bit of time to think about how we can group the topics and it ended up being the name of the website.

Below is a quick breakdown on how we plan to break up the articles and should make it easier to find relevant articles.

House
This is the more structural aspect, including topics like building maintenance, property markets and home renovations.

Garden
Everything outside that does not fall under the house category.
Gardening, swimming pools, paving, drainage etc.

Home
As the saying goes, home is where the heart is…
This category covers aspects that impact how one lives in the house.
Interior design, appliances and green living to name a few…
